Patch 2.0.2 — Endless Ragnarok
Character tier list
Placements follow Game8's Endless Ragnarok tier assessment, which weighs endgame damage ceiling, party utility and consistency at Chaos++ and Defy Infinity. Tiers assume a fully built character — several A-tier picks out-damage SS-tier ones in expert hands.
Every character in Relink can clear every piece of content. Read this as "how much the game fights you", not "who is unplayable".
SS
Broken
Defines the meta. Top damage or irreplaceable utility, and forgiving enough to play consistently.
4 characters
S
Excellent
Fully competitive at every difficulty. Usually one execution requirement away from SS.
5 characters
A
Strong
Clears all content comfortably. Often high-skill characters whose ceiling is higher than this rank suggests.
9 characters
B
Solid
Perfectly viable, but held back by a low damage cap or a slow ramp.
7 characters
C
Situational
Bring these for a specific job — support, tanking, or because you enjoy them.

How to actually pick a character
Focus one character first.Terminus weapons are RNG drops from a shared pool, and the pool grows with every character you unlock. Getting your main's weapon is dramatically faster with a small roster.
Difficulty matters more than tier.A B-tier character you play cleanly beats an SS-tier one whose timing windows you keep missing. Check the difficulty rating on each character page.
Your AI slots want specialists.Cagliostro and Eugen appear in more recommended teams than anyone else, because the AI pilots them near-optimally. Build them even if you never play them.
