Signature mechanic

Ultrasight multi-lock targeting

Holding attack lets Tweyen lock onto multiple targets, with the number scaling off her Ultrasight level, which rises as she lands attacks and skills. Firing Multilock Hail at max Ultrasight is her big payoff. Her SBA grants Bring the Thunder, upgrading her damage skills and adding Paralysis, and Depravity remains one of the strongest debuffs in the game.

Tweyen deals consistent ranged damage and is reliable for crowd control. Her maneuverability with her combo allows her to get to safety when fighting against tough bosses. Additionally, she has access Depravity, one of the strongest debuff Skills in the game thanks to its ability to apply numerous debuffs in one go, especially Slow and Paralysis. You do, however, need to properly manage your spacing to take advantage of your range.— Game8 tier assessment

Support skills (passives)

  • Dark Huntress

Holding allows Tweyen to lock on to multiple targets based on her Ultrasight level. Landing attacks and skills raises the level.

  • Bring the Thunder

Grants Bring the Thunder to Tweyen upon using her SBA. Her damage skills deal more damage and inflict Paralysis while Bring the Thunder is in effect.

How to unlock

Tweyen can be unlocked by trading 3 Supreme Weapon Essence for her Crewmate Card. This can be done via the Treasure Trade in Siero's Knickknack Shack .

Strengths

  • 1

    Excellent multi-target damage

Multi-lock makes her outstanding against multi-part bosses and add waves alike.

  • 2

    Best-in-class debuff

Depravity is among the strongest party-enabling debuffs available.

  • 3

    Safe and mobile

Her combo doubles as repositioning, so she disengages from danger cheaply.

Weaknesses

  • 1

    Ultrasight ramp

Low Ultrasight means weak locks; you spend the fight's opening building it up.

  • 2

    Moderate ceiling

B tier — consistent rather than explosive compared to the top DPS.

  • 3

    Paid unlock

Treasure Trade or purchase required, like the other Eternals.

Sigil loadout — Fatebreaker

Tweyen's sigils in Endless Ragnarok center around her Master Traits. To get the maximum value out of it, she specifically needs 5 Basic-Stat , 3 Attack , and 2 Defense or Support . This will provide her up to 200% Damage Cap , 100% Attack Boost , 6% Defense , and 20,000 base HP .

We recommend 2 Health and 3 Stun Power for her basic stat sigils. Equipping exactly one Aegis and Greater Aegis boosts her health to 180–195k without disabling the Catastrophe Nova boost. For attack, always run Fatebreaker , Celestial Lumen , and Celestial Terra to raise her damage cap. Finally, use her defense/support slots for Improved Dodge (for better evades) and Steel Nerves (for damage reduction with Stout Heart).

Prioritize Supplementary DMG and DMG Cap subtraits to boost her damage, and fully utilize her Strategy , Truth , and Warpath character-sigils in the endgame to further boost her damage output. Slot in Autorevive , Guts , and Potion Hoarder for her survivability options. Nimble Onslaught provides her with SBA gauge gain, cooldown reduction, and higher invincibility duration after a perfect dodge.

Gearing priorities

  • Transcended Terminus (T.Lvl 7): Catastrophe Nova, DMG Cap, Sigil Booster, Unbound Master
  • While progressing Chaos, a transcended Defender weapon usually beats an un-transcended Terminus
  • The standard template: 5 Basic-Stat + 3 Attack + 2 Defense/Support sigils
  • Fatebreaker V+, Celestial Lumen V+ and Celestial Terra V+ in the attack slots
  • Improved Dodge+ and Steel Nerves V+ for survivability that does not cost damage
  • Summons for their traits: War Elemental, Stout Heart, Berserker Echo, Spartan Echo

Over Mastery bonuses

  • Skill Damage Cap Up
  • Stun Power Up
  • Normal Attack Damage Cap Up
  • Skybound Art Damage Cap Up

Once Tweyen has all of her Weapon Transcendance Masteries fully unlocked, she will have 80%-83% Critical Hit Rate without any sigils, traits, or summons. Therefore, she only needs to enable one Master Trait that increases her Critical Hit Rate by 20% to reach 100%, which will give her more room for her Over Mastery Bonus.

Tweyen's best Master Trait is Insight: Hail to Multilock which grants her more Ultrasight gain and damage to her Multilock Hail. She also gains a more Supplementary Damage at 10 Piercing Gleam stacks.

As for her other Traits, prioritize getting Damage Cap for her skills and unique attacks. You can also get reduced cooldowns , increased buff duration , and buff strength of her skills. Make sure to equip one Critical Hit Rate +25% . It is also important to activate all traits that provide bonuses based on equipped sigils .

Lastly, enhance her Hail to Multilock perks with traits that further increase the damage cap of Multilock Hail , more Ultrasight gain, and increased attack per Peerless Gleam stack.

Execution

Combos & rotation

  • Tweyen Hail to Multilock Combo8 steps
    1. 1Always start with Merculight followed by Depravity.
    2. 2Use Lethal Rain and Clincher after.
    3. 3Once at max Ultraight level, hold her unique attack to use Multilock Rain at level 11.
    4. 4Use Combo A rapidly without any charge to quickly gain up to 10 Peerless Gleam stacks.
    5. 5If you reached max Ultrasight level while trying to gain 10 Peerless Gleam stacks, use Multilock Hail immediately.
    6. 6Once you are at 10 Peerless Gleam stacks, use Combo C with charged normal and unique attacks to gain almost full Ultrasight level.
    7. 7Use uncharged Combo A to quickly gain the rest of her Ultrasight or refresh her Peerless Gleam stacks.
    8. 8Activate Multilock Hail again and repeat Step 6 and 7 until the end of the fight or Steps 1 and 2 once her skills goes off cooldown.

Tweyen's Master Trait, Hail to Multilock, is the upgraded version of her combo in the base game . This lets her gain more Ultrasight levels and increased damage on her Multilock Hail.

Her Combo A and C move can be seen in Tweyen's command list. You can do Combo A by executing one normal attack and two unique attacks. For Combo C, you need to do three normal attacks, and two unique attacks. Both combos can be held to do the charged version.

  • Ultrasight Fast Charge Combo5 steps
    1. 1Attack three times
    2. 2Charge her Combo Finisher, then use her Power Finisher.
    3. 3Dodge right after releasing the Power Finisher to cancel the full animation and mitigate the knockback.
    4. 4Repeat until Ultrasight reaches Level 10
    5. 5Charge Multilock Hail to max before releasing.

Tweyen's combo revolves around trying to gain as many Ultrasight levels as possible. Her combos and skills helps let her do that and Peerless Eye significantly improves her Ultrasight gain for a period of time. This lets her use Multilock Hail at max level which can deal a ton of damage that locks in to an enemy.

  • Deadshot Helps Ultrasight Charge Faster

Deadshot is a buff that Tweyen receives after using the skill Peerless Eye . Deadshot increases Ultrasight's gain speed , which lets Tweyen shoot max strength Multilock Hails more often.

Try to always use Peerless Eye when it is off cooldown to increase Tweyen's damage output.

  • Use Multilock Hail At Max Ultrasight

The number of attacks that Multilock Hail performs depends on Tweyen's Ultrasight level . To maximize its damage, try to only use Multilock Hail at max Ultrasight level .

If you accidentally start preparing Tweyen's Multilock Hail, you can dodge to cancel the charging animation .

  • Combo Finisher Changes Based on Attack Number

Tweyen's Combo and Power Finisher changes based on the number of attacks that she does during her combo. After one attack, the Combo and Power Finisher are single shots , followed quickly by Tweyen dodging in a direction of the player's choosing.

After two attacks, the finishers become an arrow fan that allows Tweyen to hit multiple enemies at once . Lastly, three attacks convert her finishers into a powerful single shot , dealing a lot of damage and Stun, while also increasing her Ultrasight level by a big amount.

It is important to note that while the Combo Finsher can be charged , the Power Finisher cannot be charged . Trying to charge the Power Finisher will instead cause Tweyen to start charging up her Multilock Hail.

  • Hold Depravity To Maximize Debuffs

Depravity is one of Tweyen's core skills, capable of both dealing damage and applying multiple debuffs . To deal the most amount of damage, as well as apply all of its debuffs, players must hold the Skill down for the entire duration.

  • Use Clincher When Enemy Has Debuffs

Clincher is a powerful damaging skill that deals more damage if the enemy has debuffs . As such, wait for the enemy to have multiple debuffs before using the skill. Casting Clincher after Depravity is a great combo, as Depravity can apply up to five debuffs , greatly boosting Clincher's damage.

Kit

Skills

Recommended loadout — Depravity, Clincher, and Merculight

Depravity is Tweyen's most important skill, as not only does it deal damage, but it also applies numerous debuffs to the enemy, namely ATK and DEF Down, Burn, Poison, and Slow . Additionally, if used after Tweyen casts her Skybound Arts, it can also apply Paralysis , which is a powerful debuff that stops any enemy in their tracks.

Merculight gives her a significant amount of attack buff that goes past beyond the damage cap and 3 stacks of Mirror Image. We exchange this for Peerless Eye because her Master Trait already gains a decent amount of Ultrasight gain when at max stacks.

For damaging skills, Lethal Rain is great thanks to its ability to deal damage over a wide area and apply a high amount of stun , making it easier to use Link Attacks. Clincher , on the other hand, synergizes well with Depravity as its damage scalses on the amount of debuffs currently afflicted on the enemy.

SkillEffectApplies
ClincherRecommendedFires a single devastating arrow. Deals more damage based on the number of debuffs currently inflicted on a foe.
DepravityRecommendedFires a forward stream of arrows. Hold while casting to prolong fire and inflict ATK↓, DEF↓, Burn, Poison, and Slow in that order.
Lethal RainRecommendedA ranged attack that showers a wide area with arrows and deals a high amount of stun. Hold while activating to aim.
MerculightRecommendedGrants ATK↑ and Mirror Image to Tweyen.
Peerless EyeGrants Stout Heart and Deadshot to Tweyen.
Two-Crown's StrifeFires a volley of arrows at a foe. Prolongs duration of inflicted debuffs on hit. Can only be cast once, after a certain amount of time has passed in battle.
Valiant WeaveLeaps into the air and fires three arrows while dodging backward. Tilt the movement controls while airborne to dodge in that direction instead.
Wheel of DeathFires arrows while spinning in place. Launches a foe into the air on hit.

                  Party

Recommended team — Cagliostro, Fediel, and Captain

Fediel is your frontline damage dealer using the Finishing Touch Master Trait build to deal a massive amount of ranged damage while mid-air, which helps her avoid taking damage while she is doing her combo. Make sure to equip The Black's Blessing and Primordial Fear , as they are skills that buff the party and inflict a strong status effect called Petrify.

Captain will be your tank frontline, using The Substitute Master Trait build to provide shield for the party and absorb damage you take and redirect it to them. Phalanx and Substitute are important skills to bring. If you want Captain to deal damage, then picking Armor Break and Reginleiv is the choice. Otherwise, you can swap Armor Break with Rage , Veil , or Dispel depending on the boss you are tackling.

Cagliostro will be your other ranged support using her Alchemedic Master Trait build to provide offensive buffs, healing, and shields for the party. Phantasmagoria and Reinforce are important skills to have. Pain Train and Alexandria are low-cooldown damaging skills that allow her to charge her Collapse quickly after use.
